You are sure to enjoy your stay in our homey farmhouse, built in 1881 by
George and Mary Griffeth Alger, which is still known to old-time locals as
"the Alger place."

This small farm stayed in the Alger family
until three years before we purchased it in 1979. We were looking for a
home in the country and were drawn to this lovely place, believing that it
was just right for our young family and our dreams for a farm.
Our children are all grown; the days of
chickens, rabbits, pigs, heifers, and a horse are past. We now raise
Golden Retriever
and
Goldendoodle pups. We continue to enjoy living here and want to share our home so
that Bed and Breakfast guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the
Alger Place.
