Alger Place is a beautiful place in which to relax and refresh. Please make yourself at home; we'll take good care of you.

Thor, our Golden Retriever, will be sure to welcome you from his dog house when you arrive. Molly, the Calico, may be shy at first but will soon want to be friends. Ours are the only pets you will need while you are here.

You will find a TV and assorted videos, games and reading materials in the family room. The formal living room is a quiet place to read or play the piano. The front porch is a shady place to relax with two rockers and a swing, and the side porch has Adirondack chairs.

We trust that you will respect and appreciate our smoke-free, alcohol-free environment.

You will be served a hearty country breakfast, with hot tea and freshly brewed coffee available early.

Alger Place is surrounded by large maple trees, which keep the house cool in the summer. Maple sugaring is part of our Zehr family heritage, and we serve and sell local pure maple syrup.
